Next up in Dick Pearce Original Art Series we have Jonty Storey.

Surfer, dad, lifeboat man, image maker and illustrator, Jonty Storey is Creative Director at husband and wife run design studio, Cardigan. Based by the sea in sunny North Wales.

Jonty takes his inspiration from old nautical folk art, seaside nostalgia and surf counter culture. A discrete nod towards the past but keeping things looking forward with modern and bold colour palettes.

We are stoked Jonty took time out of his busy studio life working with Finisterre, RNLI, Aplkit and MIllican to put this rad print together for us. The puffins in this print are inspired by Jonty's time in and on the water and the colonies visiting the Llŷn Peninsula - in particular at Aberdaron and Ynys Enlli “the island of the tides”.

To see more of Jonty’s work and inspiration head over to this instagram page @CardiganUK or his website www.cardigan-creative.com
